Africa remains the continent where animal protein deficiency continues to touch remarkably millions of people. The consequences of the climate change, which are drought, decrease and disappearance of waterways and meadows, as well as loss of livestock, leads to undernourishment and malnutrition of populations.
So, having realized that animal production is as important for our country as roads’ infrastructures, hospitals and schools, Solux Group took on the challenge to invest in the field of animal production with the goal of contributing to meet the food needs of the Togolese and the subregion’s people
This is the reason why the company Agrisolux was created. This company has a farm of several hectares located around a hundred kilometers from Lomé, which is specialized in breeding cattle, pigs and poultry. It also has an office of agricultural expertise.
We believe that the creation of this farm is important to overcome, even in the slightest way, the challenge to eradicate poverty, hunger and malnutrition that threaten our countries. The farm is Agrisolux is planned to possess a large herd, which will require the adoption of standards and industrial operation. This will result in the short and medium term to derived products such as meat, milk and brood.
